It does not take much of a jolt, to drop a hammer on an antique Martini-Henry rifle. The shell casing was made from copper foil and it fired a fifty caliber bullet, using black powder. The guy got hit in the ass from a ricochet bullet, that hit the hard surface and bounced about half an ounce of hot lead, into his ass check. If it did not hit a major blood vessel you won't see blood right away. To bad it did not take the dumb asses balls off. Then there'd plenty of blood.
