Robin on the Attack

It turns out there's a very aggressive robin loose in the neighbourhood that seems determined to scare off other fowl. But there's just one problem - this bird brain believes the reflections in the car mirrors are his competitors. So he's been attacking the glass, unsuccessfully trying to get at his faux foes.

That's been leaving a major mess behind, forcing some residents tired of the daily clean-up to cover up the mirrors on their parked vehicles to keep the bird at bay. The not-so-fine feathered friend has been the talk of Douglas Ave., where he's frequently been spotted staging his act of glass warfare.

Car owners have no idea how long their autos will be under attack and may have to keep plenty of bags around to block this bird's eye view for the rest of the spring.
