China. The driver of a motorized tricycle pulled over to the side of a road, right behind a parked silver pick-up truck. Just as he opened his door, a sudden gust of wind blew his hat off his head and onto the pavement.

Acting on instinct, the man chased his hat and seconds later, a speeding white car lost control, sideswiped the parked pick-up truck and violently pulverized the tricycle. The vehicle was completely destroyed in the impact.

Oblivious to the danger, the driver was walking away to retrieve his hat and did not notice the car until after the crash occurred.

Thanks to the split-second distraction of his flying hat, the driver escaped the horrific collision without a single scratch.
