Re: A Real (mini) Digger

Midget? Seems way too well practiced to be a kid.

Re: A Real (mini) Digger

omg! in the u.s. the parents would probably be charged with child neglect if they turned their kid loose to drive one of those or just about anything. you don't even see anyone really paying attention or looking out for him if he has a problem arise.

i wonder if he wants to do that and likes it or if he is a victim of child forced labor in order to help feed the family.

Now i am embarrassed. i have tried several times in the past to learn how to drive a car with a stick shift. and when i hadn't learned a damned thing each time after, i could only come to the conclusion that everyone doesn't drive an automatic because some people are just outright determined to make things difficult for themselves.

by the time this kid is 12 i can see him moving on to bigger and better things... perhaps a crane or a tank or the largest ship ever that the plans are in the making for. there certainly won't be much, if anything that has a motor and moves, that he won't be able to drive when he is an adult (or possibly when he's still a teenager.)

Re: A Real (mini) Digger

Asian country..child labor laws don't exist..
But..would it be child labor? he probably does this because he likes it..and the people that run the show leave him do it...free labor..

Reminds me when I was a kid ..the city street department used to leave all of their vehicles and construction equipment unlocked. no fences. etc..we used to play in and around them after the place would close and on the weekends..didn't leave us the keys though..
10-12 years old..was a pretty interesting time.
Looking back..I woulda been lost if they did leave the keys..

Yeah could be. I think you're mistaking dwarves for all little people. Look up the famous Tom Thumb. Some little folks are properly proportioned and depending on their age can look like a child. Thanks for asking

Re: A Real (mini) Digger

He drives better than some operators I've worked with. He should get some blocks of wood for his feet like the kid in Indiana Jones!
