I adore how lovely those vets (I'm assuming) were with the dog. Gentle + kissing him, really bloody sweet!

The bloke on the other hand, screaming like a little girl - well! He could have a genuine fear of needles, but he could just be a big pussy!

My son cut his leg right down to the bone, when he was 15, he had a dislike of needles, the Dr was trying to freeze his wound, he kicked him right on to his arse, i nearly died, it was that bad, the Doctor swore out loud ..i had to hold his leg after that

Needle phobias can cause a lot of problems, I have a lifelong debilitating phobia of hypodermics, I haven't allowed a needle to pierce my skin in over 25 years.

Luckily I just don't get ill, so I haven't really needed any injections/blood tests, I feel sorry for regular folks who need their shots and such but flip out when they go for them.

The first time I had an ingrown toenail, aged 9, I went to the chiropodist to get it removed. When the bloke started the procedure, I ended up accidently kicking him in the face!

The second one I had done, at nearly 15 years old, I was pinned down!

Just as well i am not, i have had 91 pints of blood removed over a 15 month period due to illness...it tested my resolve i can tell you, every pint binned as well.

My dad went his full life without breaking a bone...Maybe you could just be as lucky, and be able to avoid needles

I'm diabetic, and I inject between 3-6 times each day. Glad I don't have a needle phobia. I'd be screwed.
