Hey, maybe they do hate her, and want to frighten her to death to inherit her vast fortune When I was about 4 or 5, my middle sister (who was just in her teens) used to take a long 20" strand of her hair and attach it to a realistic black rubber spider about the size of a small dormouse. Then she'd wave her hand over the spider (the other hand was hidden) and say, "I have the power to make this come to life and get ya!" then she'd pull the spider towards me at the kitchen table, sometimes quickly. To quote Roseanne Roseannadanna: "Thought I was gonna die!" |
