this isn't getting winded. getting winded is when you have trouble catching your breath after over-exerting yourself. example: chase a fat dude with a golf club for twenty feet. he will be winded. this is agonal breathing, or agonal respiration. it's not "getting winded". |

I've had it multiple times. The only reason people sound scared or dying is because when you breath, there is no breathing capacity to take in air so you're like, what the fuck? BREATH BREATH BREATH! It sucks the first couple of times but you get used to it and learn not to panic. |

The first times this happens to you it is about the scariest thing you can imagine, the first time it happened to me was at a hotel. I somehow managed to fall down the stairs into the lobby in front of a huge crowd of people. I freaked out and thrashed about on the floor making idiot noises... not the coolest way to kick off new years eve..
