Re: Owned Bird

i love cats but i felt so bad for the bird. it obviously was frantic and doing everything it could trying to get the cat away from its nest. i hope the nest only had eggs and not babies. i don't know why the person didn't bother to intervene. if it was his cat, he should have put it inside and if it was someone elses cat he should have taken to the owner/s and asked for them to keep the cat inside for awhile or at least keep it off of his property for several weeks. and certainly when the cat caught the bird, he should have immediately tried to help the bird. it was only trying to protect its nest.

i saw nothing worth laughing about, or saying "wow" about. and the comment "that's cool" sure shows what a life that person does NOT have.

this video shows the very reason that many people hate cats. it's because they are bird lovers. but bird lovers tend to be bird brained because a cat is not at fault. hunting prey is natural instinct. instead of the cats, the bird lovers should be hating the cat owners who allow their cats to go outside. i have four cats, all which stay inside 24/7 and try to encourage others to do the same. chances for a cat to live a long life are drastically reduced when the cat is allowed to go outside and roam.

poor bird!
Well, obviously you have no respect for a natural life cycle. Why should you stop a cat from doing what it naturally does? THAT would be unnatural.

If people hate cats because of their natural instincts - which is WHY they hunt birds and other creatures - then they should stay in La-La land with the teletubbies and not bother the rest of us in reality. WTF are you doing in DR, anyway, if you can't take a little NATURAL killing, for once!? Gimme a BREAK!

Re: Owned Bird

Wow. I usually feel sorry for the birds, but this cat was pushed to his limit. Poor bird, I bet he won't do that again.

And this is why I kill cats. They don't belong here. they destroy native bird life that already is struggling.
