My 80+ grandma left her car out of park about two years ago. Luckily i was there or shit could have been really bad. She had just opened her car door back up and was standing there talking to me when the car just lurched backwards and she had one arm on the roof and the other on the top of the car door like trying stop the car from rolling but it was taking her with it.

i was able to get around to the other side in time and grab her under her arms. I remember thinking, i cant throw her down to the ground (she wellllll aged) but as the car came off the carport and then down the driveway and i felt the car door pushing us as it went faster, on the ground and luckily grass is exactly what we did.

the car continued down the driveway, across the street, down a very steep knoll, over a big bush and a tree stump and a lawn where it came to a stop after hitting a corner of a neighbor's house. It did little to the house but fucked up the back of the car. G was not hurt (me either).

But that car was like: "Glad I got rid of that boring old broad..."

good thing it was turned slightly right when she left it. the sidewalk stopped it.
