Scherzi a parte (Joking Aside) is a popular television programme which was first broadcast in 1992. It features practical jokes played on celebrities (in the fashion of Candid Camera).

The very first prank involved comedian Giorgio Faletti who takes a taxi ride where the taxi skids, collides with a cart, almost hits some bystanders, rides on two wheels and then crashes into a wall. The taxi driver then asks for the fare.

It's in italian, but there isn't much to translate: the taxi driver was Holer Togni, a stuntman expert in acrobacies with cars. At some point at a crossroad a gipsy woman asks him for some money, and as he refuses to pay she throws a curse at him "you'll get crazy!you'll get crazy!you'll get crazy!" Then, he starts behaving weirdly... At the end of the ride, the taxi driver says "Sir, the fare is 25,000 lire" and the victim replies "i'll give you 25,000 kicks in the ass!"
