Chuck Stapel did the knives for 1st & Ten. About six months later, I'm talking to him, and he says "You want to hear something? That cheap son of a bitch called me and asked me to give him an identical pair!" The week after the murder, The National Enquirer ran a cover shot of a still of O.J. from the show, holding the knives. I called Chuck and asked if he was mad at himself for not giving him the knives. "You could have been called as an expert witness." |
