24 July 2010 A Canadian fighter pilot is recovering after his jet crashed during a practice run at an air show in Alberta.
Captain Brian Bews was performing a low manoeuvre at the airfield when the CF-18 fighter banked.
Canadian Forces Captain Nicole Meszaros said the injuries that Mr Bews suffered after he landed clear of the blazing plane were "non-life threatening".
