the only reason we are seeing this technology is because it has been around for a while in secret and finally they are going to mass produce it. Reagan started Star Wars...you can bet your ass they could shoot down anything N korea launches. I remember in the late 80's a US pilot was blinded by a soviet ship board laser so this has been around for a while. Only a big war will bring out all the toys.
