I have a theory that there's much more alcohol fetal syndrome in these communities than others. Otherwise, I just can't explain behavior like this Hopefully, she learned a hard, hard lesson, and will never hold another firework in that hand again; at least not her natural hand. Yeah, I kind of wish we saw the aftermath so we'd know definitively if she lost a few digits or not. Could just imagine that kid's evil laughter after it exploded, then she looked down and realized she had 80% ground chuck where her hand used to be, and then the screaming starts.

Here's another video where they cut out too soon. The woman seems to yell, "EWWWW!" after it explodes so maybe "EWWWW!" in chinese means "AHHHH!" in english. And then maybe when the dude saw his wife's permanent peace or V sign on that ruined hand he yelled "AHHHH!" which might mean "EWWWW!" in chinese

That last one is akin to looking down the barrel of a gun to check it’s loaded. God I hate stupid people, but then I see vids like this and I realise I love them.

I should add this type of stupidity isn’t limited to this generation. We just see more of it. When I was school during the ‘70s some blockhead put a “pennybunger”firecracker in his mouth and lit it. He looked like a distressed Louis Armstrong blowing trumpet for a second and then… silence. He was hauled away by a teacher. I don’t recall ever seeing him again.

Good point. Can't say I never thought much about the impact on future generations. It's only going to get worse, with the increasing feral households in the urban welfare culture, and adding huge meth addict populations to the warped offspring stew.

When I was a sheltered child, I believed that Chinese laughed when they were sad, and cried when they were happy. An older sibling probably taught me that.

Then I saw my first kung fu movie, and realized that Chinese social interactions are just plain certifiably nuts.
