Well that makes sense. There are a few trailer trash in USA that can't talk properly either. We don't have a culture like the Irish Travelers. But we do have immigrant Traveler types that live here now. Mostly they are hard working but a bit of nonconformist and have their own culture. They did a show a while back about them. However the ones over here do get schooling and learn to read and write and have almost no accent at all. I think my grandmother's father came from them but the most she would say is that he was an Irishman who played bars for cash and drink. He was violent and moody and then he just never came home one day. As a child once I saw some back woods hillbillies who came down from the hills of Arkansas to buy vegetables and milk from us. They could barely speak so we could understand with difficulty only by listening closely. It started to rain hard and one man just took off his hat and and let the rain run through his long stringy greasy hair and commented how he had been needing a bath. |

Where are you going with your "um guys..." shite?? First of all check your spelling retard before you begin to put others less fortunate than yourself down. These are Irish travellers - it has taken them decades to earn any kind of respect in Ireland both from the wider population and more importantly the Irish government. The reason why you sir have pissed me off is because you`re not even Irish but you claim to know so much about them...
