I’ve seen that before at a zoo when I was a lot younger. I’ve seen gorillas tossing poop at people. Apes and monkeys acquire strange behaviors being locked up in cages. Locking an animal in a glass cage is getting old. I don’t blame the chimp one bit. They’re intelligent creatures. There was a place up in Washington state where they had a caged gorilla in a store. It was a long enclosure. He would run the length and slap the windows hard several times. It would rock the whole store with what sounded like large rifle gun shots. He did it constantly. That was one seriously pissed off animal.  |

That was the premise of Kurt Vonnegut's short story WELCOME TO THE MONKEY HOUSE with its future society of everyone undergoing mandatory numbing of the lower regions to kill the libido to curb overpopulation.
