Eh, I was going to blame cat # 2 as well, but after some analisys of the video I came up with some surprising conclusion: the perp is Cat # 1: some spots of soil can be clearly seen under his legs (see image 1): he tried to clean up his forelegs but camera caught him @ 00:14 (image 2): plus, he left traces of soil while escaping (image 3). But the ultimate proof is in the animated illustration (4): he fled with a screech of tyres, and the direction leaves no room to any doubts. Cat two looks guilty but he's not: he's just afraid to be blamed for no reasons. |

I dont think thats soil on the scratching pad..it looks like the cats regularly use that stand back as a scratching post. Thats what the marks are, not soil. But thats my opinion.
