I used to trap them in my garage. Grab them by the tail and wallup them against the floor. Worked perfectly and they learnt thier lesson properly. If I failed to catch them I would just shoot them with my trusty firearm. Or failing that poison them. BTW, why not spray them with antifreeze. They will be forced to lick it off.
