Why do people think PVC pipe can handle gunpowder? There's a reason cannons are made out of thick, cast iron that weighs like 2 tons. And cinder blocks...yeah...they're brittle and not that heavy. It would be better to bury the mortar in the ground. Or even better, not fuck around with gunpowder.

Not a big deal to make a black powder cannon--just use common sense for your material choice for the damn barrel, get a good piece of drill steel from an oil drilling company, the wall is over 1 inch thick and strong as hell--spend some time welding in a plug and it will never blow.  |
