Ravens and crows are smarter and are quite capable of basic problem solving, more so than a fair number of people these days. Best not piss off them too much, they may very well be running the world, soon enough. I, for one, welcome our avian overlords, and would just like to say I have no problem recruiting human slaves for building the giant feathered spire they will no doubt require as a base of operation and global domination. I've read if any human harms them or even tries to harm them they will recognize their facial features and will always consider you their enemy.. |

There is a really cool documentary about them describing in detail their intelligence and memory. Some of them were able to problem solve up to 7 - 10 steps to accomplish a certain task(for example use a stick to retrieve an item, use that to retrieve another item, to unlock another item, etc.)where the end result was food.
