Re: Hit and Run on Crosswalk
That was hilarious. Ya, I know the feeling. When I didn't have a car there was one crosswalk at a major intersection where the cars just HATED to stop for pedestrians. Almost every time I would start to cross with the light in my favor and some nut would come around the corner and almost hit me. AND one guy actually honked at me just like that. Going down a street once on my bicycle a car exiting a department store parking lot laid on his horn as I passed. I was a tobacco chewer at that time so I just spat a nice juicy grasshopper stain across his shiney white hood. Of course he chased me for a bit around the parking lot after he got turned around with me jumping curbs and leading him around and up and down the parking lot. After he gave up I watched as he reexited the parking lot and went across the street to another store to continue his shopping. I waited till he exited his car and was halfway to the store with his son in tow and then zipped on over and stood with my bike at the back end of his car. Gave him a hollar and when he looked back I lobbed another huge stain across the back of his car. After making a hasty getaway I looked back just before I was out of sight and he had barely made it back to his car. Never saw the ahole again. |
