Patients at a hospital in Liverpool were forced to run for cover after a 17-year-old boy attacked them with a homemade flamethrower.
Merseyside Police were called to the hospital just after 1:50pm on Monday, January 22, to reports a 17-year-old boy was behaving erratically.
It was reported the boy had used an aerosol can and lighter as a makeshift 'flamethrower' to direct flames towards two men in the A&E Department.
A video, widely shared on social media, shows the teen terrifying patients in the hospital waiting room as he directed the flames towards them in a shocking attack.
Police said the teenager was swiftly restrained by family members and later detained by security staff during the attack, in which no one was seriously injured.
