This vid, which was reportedly posted on Douyin by an account held by a Kachin Independence Army fighter, shows two fighters of a pro-Junta Pyithusit militia laying down suppressive fire into the jungle with their rifles before one of them is shot in the head, possibly by a sniper’s bullet.

The date of the video is unknown, as is the precise location where it takes place, but it can be assumed that the cameraman was captured or killed by Kachin forces.

It is likely that a Kachin Independence Army fighter obtained the video from the militiaman’s phone and then posted it on Douyin.
