I read somewhere that when you lose a part of your body, another part of your body becomes stronger .... also true with sense. Like if you go blind your sense of hearing becomes much sharper, etc.

there was a guy on the oprah show who was blind but could ''see'' by clicking his mouth and no not only big things small things like a globe amazing! sadly he died of cancer a few years later..
