Grumpy Cat turned two earlier this month, and to celebrate had a huge birthday party in New York. Where, wait for it… She looked grumpy.

The internet sensation, real name Tardar Sauce (nope, we don’t get it either), celebrated her ‘official’ birthday party, following a string of other celebratory events (her birthday was actually on April 4) that included a trip to the US Vogue offices. Casual.

Grumpy, who suffers from feline dwarfism, looked thoroughly unmoved by the array of glittery party hats, printed balloons and the stupendously brilliant birthday cake that were laid on for her at her party that sponsored by cat food company Friskies.
But come on, just look at that cake!

Naturally, Grumpy is already a spokesperson for Friskies Party Mix treat range. Cute.

Fans of the superstar kitty had the opportunity to attend her birthday bash thanks to an online competition which enabled cat owners to upload pictures of their own grumpy moggy.

Grumpy Cat now has 216,000 followers on Twitter and almost 5million likes on Facebook, thanks to her incredibly cute, yet incredibly unhappy face. N’awwww.
