Well, animals don't have very much when it comes to frontal lobes, so they're like, "If it feels good, DO IT!". Plus, I think that was more of a "domination" thing. If the big dog had the little dog's bone, the little dog might've been trying to show dominance over the bigger one. Not that the big dog even seemed to notice. The big'un must've been female. She did nothing but just ly there.
