I wasn't "assigning racism", I was simply questioning the possibility of it being a motive. To assign racism, would imply that my observation was stated as fact, when in actuality it was nothing more than an assumption. I will say however, that having lived in Berlin for a number of years, racism is rife and I can wholeheartedly assure you that such a motive wouldn't be out of the realms of possibility.
