The main different in accents and dialects is vowel sounds. In theory if there is a specific part of the brain that processes vowels, altering it would alter your speech patterns. I have heard of other cases of people waking up with accents after head injuries. Or maybe their current life sucks and they are trying to reboot a past one. |
