Re: Flooded Road Issues

Ruined that scooter… when it hit the water still running it sucked up a bunch through the intake and that’s all she wrote. Good thing he had a smile on.

Well, he's not under a train or a cement truck, so it's a good day for him!

I assumed it was electric because I heard no motor, but I have no idea about scooter tech.

It might very well be electric but just the same, it’s toast one way or another. No way you could dry out the electronics and have it up and running again. It would need to be taken apart by every nut and bolt down to IKEA instructions. and still would need a full battery replacement plus electronics…computer, wiring, turn signals and everything electrical.

There are Scooters who actually Waterproof. My Segway es4 Battery was sealed and also the Hub motor (i know it because i must take my Motor apart due a Electric Hall Sensor failure).
But i would recomme that he take the whole Thing apart just for sure.
