Yes, I remember as a kid a boarder in our house said you could use propane instead of helium to make lighter than air party balloons. To demonstrate his hackneyed theory, he proceeded to fill a balloon with his propane torch. Sank like a lead balloon  Then he put the balloon into the fire place and tossed a match on it. Resulting explosion was such that he practically ignited my mom's living room, and it looked remarkably like what happened to the hapless hags in this video, which is why I immediately thought: PROPANE!  |
