Don't Scan My Chickens

The guy doesn't want LED light flashed on his $5 Costco chickens. LOL.

(It's best not to tell him about what BigAg feeds those factory chickens.)

Re: Don't Scan My Chickens

hope they change the barcode every week so he has to print new shirts each times. The cashier should have said pew pew for each scan on that shirt which he is probably wearing over some tinfoil plastered to his body

Re: Don't Scan My Chickens

He's pretty dedicated, that he actually had a SHIRT with the scan code printed.

When I was in L.A. during school in the 1970's, I worked at a gas station, and there was an older lady who came in with a 1957 Corvette (Beautiful car!) who never wanted it touched with human hands. She was an extreme Germaphobe. I had to use a paper towel to take off the gas cap to fill it, and when checking the tires, water, and oil. I was accommodating without whining about it, so she would drive by the station, and if I wasn't there, she would pass it and fill up the next day when I was there, instead. I often wondered what happened to her car after she died. We had a LOT of odd people in that station, and I got used to is. It was a very entertaining place to work. There was an entire family of REAL old-style gypsies living on the block, and the woman in the household had never learned to read, and would bring me hair color bottles and other things to read for her, so she could use them, and I would go through the instructions for her. She also had a 10-11 year old daughter, who would come down occasionally, and show me her latest card scam or magic trick, testing them out to see if she had them perfected. The little girl didn't know how to read, either. She was cute and VERY smart, so I always felt sorry for the life she was headed for.
There was a guy who showed up as a pimp one time, and then a week later, he showed up in a COP uniform. THEN he showed up driving an ANTIQUE CAR! (We frequently had pimps into the station, and occasionally they would try and trade one of their girls for gas. (We were near the Hollywood Race Track, so we saw a lot of bizarre people who had lost money at the track, and needed gas.) I never liked the pimps, because they were generally really mean to the girls with them, really harsh and rude to them, so I would give them their service, and not exchange any conversation with them. Just transact the business and watch them drive away. So when this actor first showed up, I assumed he was a pimp, and just served him and didn't converse with him at all. (I never took any of them up on the offer to trade a blowjob for some gas, even though the girls were like "C'mon, it will be the BEST EVER!") After he showed up in all these different disguises, I was surprised and questioned him, and it turned out he was an actor, and had all his own uniforms and other clothes to use when filming for TV shows. He also liked antique cars and had a few. He was always busy, playing the black pimp or the black cop, and was getting called in for work every other day or so, and he made a good living at it. If they had a crisis in shooting a show, he had his outfits ready to go, and could show up on short notice, so they relied on him a lot. He told me once when he was going to be on a Telly Savalas show, as a cop, and told me when he was going to be on TV. and I watched it, and there he was! He also was a body actor, in such things as the animated "Lord of the Rings", where they just recorded him running as an orc over several days, and then he was one of the cartoon orcs in the film, but they actually used him for like 10 different orcs, to animate his different orc characters. He was in about EVERY cop or detective show they made in L.A. in the 1970's. There were all kinds of interesting people in and out of that place!
