That’s why the postal carrier’s have “dog spray”. It’s very useful in these situations. I love animals but wouldn’t hesitate in using mace on those dogs.  |

In many of these cases, there doesn't seem to be time to deploy mace: the dog would've been ON them, teeth-out, before it could even take a breath to be repelled (and, some dogs it wouldn't even slow down anyway). Plus, macing someone's dog ON their property/within their fence or property line is a GREAT way to get sued.  |

If a delivery person is making a delivery, it does not matter where driver is. Dog owner should have control of their dog(s). Driver could sue owner if he is hurt. (In the USA, that is.)
