Re: Deadlift Gone Wrong

For those of you wondering about the first one, also evident in the second one too.

Let me explain.

Mixed grip, where one hand is in the underhand grip position and the other being in the overhand position is dangerous for several reasons.

Your bicep can snap like a twig when it is accidentally loaded with the weight, which happens and there is nothing you can do because it is always different every time you lift.

The second type of injury is in the shoulder/back area. Your underhand grip has a longer distance to travel and when you're dealing with 420lbs/200kg+ weights your body undergoes a fair bit of stress.

Stress like this is not what you want on your body. I always stick to double overhand grip, safer and more effort required.

Re: Deadlift Gone Wrong

You could see the lower bicep disappear, and he knew something was wrong when his hand shot to it after the first lift.

It was a hard decision between a thank and a fuck off on this one. Thanks for making me laugh, but you can fuck off for getting that image back in my head

Put years in at the gym but never have been one for power lifting.
