Re: Curious Coyote

I'd laugh if the coyote was rabid on and one of those "playful" bites of his show punctured his skin. Now that would be funny!

Re: Curious Coyote

Exactly, that's a wild animal, that's how they play. If he really wanted to do some damage he would have bit his hand when he put it out.
Coyotes are a lot like dogs but with all thier natural instincts they need to survive. He looked very young and still eager to play. But he did act very hungry. If he had been fed he would of come back later for a repeat but he would always be wild and skittish. Best video I have seen in a long time.

Re: Curious Coyote

I think that coyote was wild but some what tamed, it's used to living near humans, it didn't seem to growl or make any harsh kind of "BACK OFF" type of sounds. Notice at the start he makes that clicking sound with his mouth, and then the coyote starts sniffing around the ground; that tells me people have been feeding this coyote and when the coyote is addressed by a human like this it expects food, as this guy had no food all it did was antagonize the coyote, hence the hostility. Nice clip though.

Re: Curious Coyote

This guy is lucky he didn't slip because that coyote would have been all over him. It looks cold as fuck out there so he probably hasn't had a substantial meal in awhile.
