Christmas Decorations Thief Caught on CCTV
A woman in America has been arrested after she was caught on camera stealing Christmas decorations from a neighbour's home. A family in Aledo, Texas spotted the thief on their home surveillance video, following a series of disappearances of decorations in the area.  The woman was filmed approaching the Starnes family's home at night Credit: Reuters In the video footage, the woman is seen approaching the home of the Starnes family before leaving carrying a wreath that had been hanging on their front door. She is later pictured pulling up Christmas lights from the family's driveway. The same thing happened at least four times to other Aledo residents, authorities said. The thief was seen taking Christmas lights from the driveway Credit: Reuters Resident Jon Starnes called the act "petty", saying: "I just couldn't believe it that a grown individual would do something like that." Authorities said the woman was hanging the lights on other homes as part of a holiday-lighting business, according to US media reports.  · |
