I have seen pictures of snakes curling up with mice too.... but the damn things still eat mice. Maybe he is feeding his little friend, Tiny, the neighborhood strays. That is one FAT snake! |

I've had several pythons, and they won't constrict around something unless they can eat it. Mice are too small and kids are too big, so a python won't kill it. I let my kid run around with my snake around his neck, too. One time my snake let a mouse live in her cage for days before I took it out. It used to ride on her head, and she didn't kill it because it was too small for her to constrict around. Snakes are fun pets. I love having them.
