Appropriate! Do you see the Aztec sacrifice disc on the ground? There is a REASON that's there! From my training at the Colombian School of Forensic Medicine and Plumbing, I translate it as being a "Aztec Fireworks Disc" with great magical powers. And the carving around the outside of the disc translates exactly to the day she got that load in her face! |

A 21-year-old woman suffered a serious facial injury after being hit by a June festivities fireworks on Tuesday night (24), in Cruz das Almas, in the Bahian backlands. Due to the severity of the injury, she was transferred to the State General Hospital (HGE), in Salvador. According to the Bahia Health Department (Sesab), between the 18th and the morning of this Wednesday (25), 72 incidents were recorded during the June festivities in the state — 24 due to burns and 48 due to bomb explosions.  |

Fireworks, or at least the fun ones, are serious 'natural selection' enablers... Unfortunately, usually folks are just maimed BUT at least they can serve as an example to others.
