Your right it is funny untill you think about it . As all those products got sent to the pacific rim to be made for cheap those jobs left our contries never to return again. Seen it happen over a ten year period in my home town. We used to have 5 GM plants, 2 truck plants , 5 dropforges, serveral tool and die shops. Now we have no truck plants, no dropforges,very few tool and die shops and 1 GM plant. Our jobs went to China and Mexico. Its hard to compete with a labor pool who works damn near for free. Welcome to the new world order. Welcome to the world economy.   |

A lot of crap is made in foreign countries that's true, but then again they can't match the U.S. in the manufacturing of certain things. Like the Ford F-150, Timberland Boots, Levi Jeans and a whole lot of other high quality American made products. |
