I dont see how its fake...there is no blood because the scissors are still in the wound. Its a basic first aid principle...if someone is impaled with something leave it in to prevent bleeding. He is likely calm because he cant feel it and he is a bit shocked and scared. Adrenaline and dead nerves ftw!
