Armed German Police Tackle Pierce Brosnan
Only to find out it was a card-board cut out of Brosnan from Die another Day. The instructor was passing the flat in the southern German city of Augsburg when he spotted what seemed to be a man in the window with A View To Kill. The driving instructor alerted the police and armed officers were dispatched to tackle the gunman. But it was Die Another Day for the instructor with the GodenEye, as he was very much mistaken. When police arrived at the scene, the figure in the window turned out to be a cardboard cut-out of actor Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. The life-size cut-out of 007 had been used to promote a special offer on James Bond movies. Perhaps the driving instructor will be trying to keep his eyes on the road to avoid further embarrassments.
