Very lucky. The glass pane hit him at an angle and basically slid down the side of his head/body. If the pane had been falling flat he probably wouldn't be alive or he'd be seriously injured.

Flat? i was more inclined on hoping it went all vertical through the middle of his noggin. he was indeed very lucky... very very lucky. it could have cut his head in half.
