One of my cats have been doing that for a couple of years, maybe one day she will sus out its a mirror, but fun to watch.

And this is why cats are stupider than dogs. My German Shepherd saw her first mirror at my place when she was 3 years old (after I rescued her) and she looked with interest at it, then checked the room behind it to make sure there was no dog on the other side, then ignored it for the rest of her life.

My cat never cared about the cat in the mirror :).
