Ireland, Nine people were injured after a group of young men fell from a lorry in Co Wicklow yesterday evening.

The incident happened at around 6.30pm in Enniskerry village when members of the local GAA club were celebrating a championship win while on the trailer of an articulated lorry.

Videos of the incident circulating on social media show a number of young men celebrating with a trophy on the back of the vehicle before a barrier gives way and several of them tumble onto the road.

Gardaí say the injured men were taken to Tallaght and St Vincent's University Hospitals for treatment but that their injuries are not life-threatening.

They say inquiries into the incident are ongoing.

In a statement, Enniskerry GAA club said none of the injuries sustained were critical.

They asked people to refrain from sharing videos of the incident out of respect for the injured parties.

Minister for Health Simon Harris said in a tweet that he was: "Thinking of those injured in Enniskerry and their families tonight. Our entire community hopes and prays that everyone will be OK."

The incident happened after Enniskerry beat Avoca in a Junior B championship final.

It is understood that all of those involved are adults.

Are you kidding me, and deny us the laughter of all of us laughing at a bunch of dumb asses falling down and hurting themselves from being somewhere they shouldn’t have been and hurting themselves? We should be encouraged to share this because

1. Laughter is healthy.
2. What better way to show other dumb asses that this is a bad idea and you could get hurt doing this.
3. Laughter is healthy.

It’s not like anyone other than maybe the people from this town might recognize one, or maybe two of the people dumb asses in the video. And those that do recognize someone probably knew the person was a dumb ass to begin with, and this would serve as confirmation of their suspicion. Screw the Enniskerry GAA club! I’m sharing this everywhere I can. :
