Re: 10 Strangest City Names, 2013
All of the females on my wife's side were positively sodden for Johnny Knoxville. (Hey, I like the guy, just not *that* way. My son LOVES Jackass, and I have to admit, it's my fault. I showed him it to discourage him. He used to do stupid shit like that until I showed him how the professional-arses do it. Ever since, he's focused upon team sports as a way to destroy his body, rather than riding a skateboard off the Hoover Dam or something. :S Both Margera parents are great. It didn't appear that way early on, but it's bearing that out now. Phil Margera manages all of Bam's business. I've always run my own money, but my Dad was a damn genius about investing before he passed. I made a shit-ton, but he doubled it in 4-years! It's one thing to have a strong back, but it's fortuitous to have a guru in the family as well. |

Re: 10 Strangest City Names, 2013
I am sorry for your loss, no matter how long it's been. Won't go into that, but, I know firsthand, it never gets better. My late father tried to teach us. The only credit card he ever had was Sears, and only in case he needed automotive parts. He taught me enough about cars, since I am the oldest so I wouldn't be a female stuck by the side of the road for something stupid. He also insisted I learn to drive a manual transmission, for which I am very grateful! Cannot get the lug nuts off though! I tried and ended up pissed off and bleeding. I was never stronger than the machine used to put them on so I have AAA! Some things made more sense, the older I got. |
