I was thinking the same thing-such healthy parts if it wasn't for that stab wound. I don't suppose anyone got the benefit of re-use if he was DOA.

He had a situs inversus totalis (mirrored organs). Unfortunately, this led to the stab wound in the right side of the ribcage and therefore his heart being fatal.
