I remember in the 70's that the girls (invariably beautiful) were happy to be referred to as stewardesses. Now you can get your throat cut and sued for saying the s-word. Ask me how I know.. I didn't get the memo about the name change

In the Philippines it's rare for the deceased to not be under a glass cover. Wakes usually last several days, so glass covers help keep the heat, humidity, and insects from damaging the corpse.

If she had been diagnosed earlier then she might have been buried in her Cebu uniform instead. She only worked for Saudia for a few months before her condition was discovered.

Flying might even have been what killed her. It increases your risk of cancer.
