I agree. One of my mates got killed in his car by a truck driver and had massive head injuries but the family still went for an open casket job. It was too weird looking at him with his head glued back together. I didn't like that at all and that is the picture of him that I can't get out of mind and that's how he looks in all my dreams now.

Or maybe she was dressed up and toned down in the before pic?

Almost all funeral homes have the family view the body before it's viewed in the actual funeral, if the family didn't like the way she looked....I highly doubt they would be ok with it.

Not to mention they would have provided her clothing and such.

Who knows....

Reminds me of the funeral of a friend of mine. She was killed in a hit and run. For some reason they also opted for open casket. She was a beautiful girl. It was messed up seeing her like that with all the reconstruction done.

My exe's sis & her baby were both murdered by stabbing & were not found right away. Baby looked asleep;we were warned she had some "swelling". She had the same puffy look this lady has. I don't think it was the home's fault. You can only do so much.
