Re: Students Watching Autopsy
I don't think they're medical students. We did that one time in high school, where several of us signed up to witness an autopsy. Gruesome. One of my classmates threw up as soon as he caught a whiff of the odor emanating out of the dissecting room. |

Re: Students Watching Autopsy
Great post Kelly Had to laugh at this one it brought back found memories of when I worked in the hospital. My biomed engineering shop was right across the hall from the mourge. Several times a year the local police and fire departments would bring in groups of cadets to see the mourge and learn the procedures for working with the mourge as far as dropping off bodies and such. They almost always had a body on the table wharn the cadets arrived as part of the program designed to see how they would react to seeing a body. Most of these cadets had never seen a body before. Never failed each year some of the cadets would either get physically ill or pass out cold the first time they see a dead body. After training and being on the job for a year they get hardened up and then nothing phases them they become like us. |
