Aside from Sonny Bono.....that famous French Actor (& one of my faves) who played a young Hannibal Lecter in 2000's Hannibal Rising.....Gaspard Ulliel was killed last year while skiing in France, on Jan. 19th, 2022. Some jerky crossed his path & collided into him & killed almost instantly. I was really looking forward to watching him in 2022's Moon Knight, but he only did 1 episode before having to be written out because of his death.

Also 7 years ago (this lawsuit was just on Court TV).....Gwyneth Paltrow collided into an Optometrist while going downhill. She hit him fast & hard, knocking him stupid.... & face down to the ground. She didn't kill him, but left him with permanent damage to his back & possibly head/ brain....nerve damage & chronic pain.
Upon the collision, Gwennie apparently left the good Doctor face down in the snow & then left after 2-3 minutes, not checking on his welfare @ all. Her testimony even mentions how she was more interested in checking herself in those 2-3 minutes. (Guess she figured since the water is frozen, Doc could breathe it? It was the Doc's buddy that saw what happened, as he was uphill from the scene. Buddy, ski's down to check on his Doctor friend & pulls Doc's face out of the snow, so he could breathe. All the while Gwyneth skied off, met up with her kids Apple & Moses.....& drank hot toddies at the lodge.....leaving her ski instructor to take care of the mess & exchange info as you would in an auto accident. Guess it was beneath her..... Or maybe she had to get back to Goop?
As you could likely guess, I don't like her. She was a smug snot all the while testifying. They'd mentioned everything Johnny Depp did while testifying that made him likable, approachable & honest.....well, Gwyneth did just the polar opposite with a smug smirk on her face.
