that might well be, but clearly you do not if you claim that "no one does autopsy with scalpels".

some coroners choose to use replaceable morgue knives or any knife that's available, it comes down to personal preference, and some use scalpels. if you worked in a morgue for two years you should know this, or your particular facility didn't.

i'm also aware what a scalpel is but thank you for the clarification.

I attend autopsies on a regular basis. All the ME's use scalpels, along with other tools.
